When you introduce yourself to someone for the first time, you may start with your name, where you go to school, a sport or instrument you play, or your future plans. Each of those may help our culture define us, but are they enough? There are bigger questions culture can’t answer: “Who am I?” and “Why do I matter?” But first, you must answer, “Who is God?” Scripture teaches that we are all made in the image of God. We don’t define ourselves—the Creator does. We find our identity in Christ. Once you begin to understand who God is and what it means to be created in His image, you’ll begin to discover all God has called you to be. This teen Bible study book for boys will examine spiritual truths from the Book of Ephesians in the Bible to lead you into a closer relationship with God and a better understanding and appreciation of your God-given identity—which is fulfilled in Christ. When we invite God in, he satiates our hunger to know and to be known, to understand and to be understood, to love and to be loved. In community, God touches our physical appetites and spiritual affections. More than a journey of food, "Taste and See" is a journey of faith, one designed to nourish our bellies and heal our souls. Islam is one of the fastest-growing religions in the United States, with an estimated 3.45 million Muslims living in the country. In reality, we can feel intimated by a religion/culture we are not familiar with. 1 Timothy 2:1 calls us to pray for all people and intercede on their behalf. With boldness, we can learn to share the hope of Jesus with Muslims. We’ll read the book, “Sharing Jesus With Muslims - A Step-By-Step Guide,” by Fouad Masri (Available on Amazon). On Saturday, March 23rd, we will apply what we’ve learned and participate in a small outreach by loving on Muslim women. More details to come as the date arises. Together we can pray for God to use us to love all people in every situation.

PERSON OF INTEREST BY J. WARNER WALLACE Does Jesus still matter? In Person of Interest, Wallace describes his own personal investigative journey from atheism to Christianity, as he employs a unique investigative strategy to confirm the historicity and deity of Jesus—without relying on the New Testament manuscripts. Wallace was skeptical of the Bible, but he’d investigated several “no-body, missing person” cases in which there was no crime scene, no physical evidence, and no victim’s body. He successfully identified and convicted the killers in these cases, even without evidence from the scene. Could the historical life and actions of Jesus be investigated in the same way? Could the truth about Jesus be uncovered even without a body or a crime scene? Explore and learn how to respond to common objections to Christianity Learn how to become a good detective using an innovative and unique “‘fuse’ and ‘fallout'” investigative strategy you can also use to examine other claims of history. Defined: Who God Says You Are is a study on identity through who you are in Christ. We will work through the Bible Study Defined, by Priscilla Shirer. This group is for girls in 6-8 grade. We will meet each week before youth group. I am hopeful the girls will want to stay and enjoy a message, food and fun at youth afterwards. Please bring a Bible to each meeting, if you do not have one please reach out to me. Study books, pens and highlighters will be provided for each girl. Olson Farms Weekend Prep Circle will be focused on preparing the campus Physically and Spiritually. We will meet at the campus at 12 pm and will be available until 3:00 p.m. to prepare the spaces for the weekend.. Nehemiah 4:16-18 "From that day on, half of my men did the work, while the other half were equipped with spears, shields, bows, and armor. The officers posted themselves behind all the people of Judah who were building the wall. Those who carried materials did their work with one hand and held a weapon in the other, and each of the builders wore his sword at his side as he worked. But the man who sounded the trumpet stayed with me" We get to build this campus as we bring our weapon of praise and prayer. Just like those in Nehemiah did when they built the walls of Jerusalem. Let's gather and prepare this house for the weekend. The opportunities will vary from Grow Plan setup, baptism setup, straightening, cleaning, praying, and growing in a relationship while we do it.
