The Go Team is a group of incredible people that have discovered their gifts and passions and are actively serving in them. Very few people get the opportunity in their lifetime to be part of the success, growth, and life-change we see happening every day in people’s lives. The Go Team does that every week, and we invite you to join us.
We believe God has a special place for you where you can use your unique abilities and passions to touch the lives of others, and that your life will never make sense until you find, develop, and fulfill your purpose in life.

Host Teams

This team utilizes their gifts of administration and organization to input prayer and praise requests as well as connection cards into our database each week. You will be cheerfully serving the Lord and our ITOWN family by ensuring the accuracy of our database.

ITOWN EN ESPAÑOL is designed to reach the Spanish-speaking community who are unchurched or de-churched through service interpretation through radio transmitters.
En Espanol is currently offered at our Mudsock Campus.

The Events Team helps support weekend events such as: Baptisms, Child Dedications, and Conferences. This team also performs weekly duties to help support the Go Team as a whole heading into the weekend, setting up for conferences, and holiday events.

The Campus Facilities Team supports the campus and the teams in all ways that help to serve our guests. Using their gifts, this team provides help in any areas needed to keep the campus clean and to care for the guests at an excellent level. The Facilities Team helps maintain a standard of excellence, so people don’t see us, just Jesus.

We are here to serve our guests and members as the first response team, should any medical or health related emergencies arise. This team generates an atmosphere of caring by ensuring our guests and members that their personal well-being is important to us.
We know that peace creates comfort. Knowing that our staff and team is ready should any medical emergency arise creates an atmosphere of peace. When there is peace, people are more apt to encounter Jesus.

We serve in order to prepare the hearts of guests and members by welcoming everyone to ITOWN Church with a smile and a warm greeting. We will be helping others feel comfortable and relaxed by creating a friendly, non-threatening environment as they enjoy the services.
Our service creates an ease and comfort in our guests so that they can receive the love and word of God through worship and the message. Enthusiasm is contagious – our excitement will make an eternal difference in others.

The Go Team Host team supports the rest of the Go Teams by creating a warm and welcoming space to get necessary supplies, find a snack, and celebrate wins together.
If you love encouraging people, making them feel welcomed, and creating hospitable environments, the Go Team Host Team might be a great fit for you!

The Grow Plan is designed to help people grow in their relationship with God by helping them discover their purpose. Our ultimate win is helping individuals complete the Grow Plan and find a Go Team and Circle to get connected to.
Our team helps achieve this goal each week by identifying where people are at spiritually and helping them take their next step.

Create an amazing first impression for all of our guests. The worship experience for our guests actually begins in the parking lot where they encounter the love of Christ through our Parking Team!
With every smile, wave, and bit of assistance given we connect with people’s hearts. We cheerfully engage guests as they arrive. You have been entrusted by our Church to serve their family members, friends and co-workers who may not yet know Jesus. Our role in the Kingdom is essential.

The prayer response team provides encouragement through handwritten cards each week to anyone who puts in a prayer request along with a name and address.

We have the amazing opportunity to assist guests each Sunday! Whether they need directions to the nursery, questions about the service or other ministries, or details about how to complete the Grow Plan and join the Go Team, we are there.
You are one of the first impressions that our guests have of ITOWN and you will be helping others by maintaining order, providing materials and direction, and reducing the fears associated with attending a new church.
You may be the only individual contact some people have on Sunday, and your role is vital as you are entrusted with these relationships.

Prepare guests for a positive worship experience by welcoming and assisting them to a seat and maintaining a distraction free environment. With our serving, guests are able to hear the truth of God’s Word and experience God in a unified worship environment.

ITOWN Cares exists to love and serve Jesus Christ by assisting individuals needing special accommodations and their families to become full participants and contributors in the body of Christ.

ITOWN Kids offers a place where children can discover and develop a passion for God through worship, Bible teachings, small groups, and a variety of fun activities. Children are taught God’s Word and challenged to grow in their relationship with Him.

ITOWN Kids Check In welcomes families as they arrive at our Kids areas and facilitates the check in process that ensures children are cared for effectively and efficiently.

Our purpose is to reach children with the life-giving message of Jesus that they might become fully devoted followers of Christ through Bible stories, worship, prayer, hands on activities, and personal interaction.

Family Ministries Teams

This team connects with our JV, high school students, and families at the Black Tent at each campus. This team helps answer any questions about upcoming events and ways that 5th-12th graders can get involved and serve.

ITOWN Youth offers a place where 7th-12th grade students can develop a thriving and authentic relationship with God and stay connected to the local church through worship, Bible teachings, small groups, and a variety of fun activities.
ITOWN Youth are equipped for the good life as God defines it and experiences the kind of joy, confidence and love that only comes from knowing Jesus for a lifetime.

This team is for adults who want to connect with our 5th-8th graders and encourage them they grow into leaders.
These leaders give responsibilities within our ITOWN Kids and Nursery/Preschool rooms and also other teams that have been approved. They will assist all students that serve on the weekends.
Also, this team spends time in small groups with the students and helps them deepen their relationships with God through Youth Nights.

JV offers a place where students can discover their gifts and develop a passion for God through serving. Our goal is to inspire students to serve at a young age so that when they are older, they can be equipped to be the men and women of God that God has called them to be.

Next Gen Teams

The Foster Care team supports the Foster Closet by organizing, receiving inventory, preparing requests, delivering essential items to families, and supporting those directly impacted by foster care. The Team utilizes their gifts of evangelism, service, and prayer at a variety of foster care outreach opportunities throughout the year.

The vision of the Outreach/Mission team is to bridge the gap between the church and the unchurched. We desire to be the tangible expression of the love of Jesus by being His hands and feet to the hungry, the widow, the orphan, the poor, the addicted, the prisoner, the vulnerable, and the unreached.
We do this by partnering with other ministries in the community and providing people to serve to make an eternal difference.

The vision of the Prison Ministry Team is to bring hope to the hopeless. We desire obedience to the Words of Jesus, “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me...He has sent me to proclaim that the captives will be released.” Luke 4:18.
Therefore, we go into the prisons and proclaim the Good News, bringing hope and freedom that can only come through Jesus.

Outreach Teams

Each weekend there are photo/video Go Team members scheduled at each campus for general photography. Other events that this Go Team may be scheduled for include: baptisms, First Wednesday, child dedications, conferences, and special events.

The Production Team facilitates a powerful, distraction-free worship experience through the use of lighting, video technology, and audio engineering. There are opportunities to serve in many roles on the Production Team including ProPresenter (lyrics) Operator, Lighting Operator, Camera Operator, Video Switcher, Audio Engineer, and Producer. Experience is not required.

Ultimately, our entire life is a battle for perspective and focus. Worship is one of the most powerful tools in aligning our hearts with the Father’s and setting our gaze back toward Him. Our goal is to use our worship to fix people’s eyes on Jesus and ultimately give God the worship He deserves.
