WHY WE EXIST
ITOWN CHURCH EXISTS TO HELP PEOPLE MOVE FROM WHERE THEY ARE TO WHERE GOD WANTS THEM TO BE.
Each weekend at ITOWN Church you’ll find a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Through powerful teaching, worship, and creativity, we share the hope that is found in Jesus each and every weekend in practical and fresh ways.
Each week we offer engaging, age-appropriate video content for children from preschool to 4th grade.
Our mission is to help people grow from where they are to where God wants them to be. We do that through four simple steps.
REACH
We reach people with the life-giving message of Jesus in weekend services. Our weekends are oriented primarily to guests, and because of that all are welcome to attend, even if you aren’t sure what you believe. While our weekend services are guest-oriented, we believe you’ll be inspired and challenged, no matter where you are on your spiritual journey.
CONNECT
Real life change happens in relationships, which is why we encourage you to connect in Circles. Circles are simply smaller groups of people that meet throughout the week and gather around a common interest.
GROW
We all want to continue to grow, and that process kick-starts with the Grow Plan. The Grow Plan is a three-step event to help you understand how God wired you, and how you can use the gifts and passions that he’s put on the inside of you to make a difference in your world.
GO
The Christian journey is so much better when you aren’t just on the sidelines, but are actually in the game! One of the best ways to go into the world and make a difference is to join the Go Team. The Go Team is made up of the amazing people who serve week in and week out, from the smiling faces in the parking lot to the rockstars rocking babies, and the helpful men and women at outreach events.

LEADERSHIP
PASTORS DAVE & KATE SUMRALL
Pastors Dave and Kate Sumrall are the founding and lead pastors of ITOWN Church in Fishers, Indiana. Since 2010, the church has grown from a small launch team to thousands who gather at three locations around the state of Indiana. The Sumralls are passionate about helping people find Jesus and flourish in the local church.
Dave is blessed to come from rich ministry heritage being the grandson of the late Dr. Lester Sumrall. In his twenties, he worked as a missionary in the Philippines for several years where he led a television ministry, a young adult ministry, and tent crusades. It was in Manila that God told Dave to move back to America to plant ITOWN Church. Dave graduated with honors from Oral Roberts University with a bachelor’s degree in Business. Kate graduated with honors from the University of Southern Mississippi with a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and is currently working on a MAR in Biblical Studies from Liberty University.
Dave and Kate have six kids: Haley Beth, Hanna, Henlee, Tait, George, and Thunder.
